The Basic Grey Page of the Month Club!

Join our exclusive Basic Grey Page of the Month Club and complete a beautiful 2 page layout every month using the hottest paper company in the industry, Basic Grey!

Several times last year we had to turn people away due to sold out classes. In an effort to accommodate more people this year, we are ordering MORE kits and offering two options:

Attend the class each month
OR
Get a take home KIT each month

Here's how it works:
Our program will run March 2010 through February 2011. The classes will be held on the LAST Sunday of every month. The cost is $25 per month for 12 months and that gets you one class or kit a month making a fab-tastic 2-page layout using only the newest Basic Grey Products.  You will also get loads of Basic Grey extras so you can make more pages at home!  The theme of your layouts is up to you!  You can make them about Holidays, your kids, your pets, Grandma Betty, your crazy Uncle Larry, the peeping tom next door, or whatever you wish!!!

You must commit to 12 months to be a part of our exclusive club. Your credit/debit card will be charged $25(plus tax) on the 15th of every month for the class, which will be held on the LAST Sunday of every month.

If for some reason you are not able to attend
you will still receive your class kit with detailed instructions to make your fabulous layout! Or if you prefer to work at home, sign up for the kit version of our club.

But wait, there’s more…
Not only will you have 12 beautiful layouts at the completion of a year, you will also get an exclusive Basic Grey Designer Album, only available to members of the club!

Call and sign up now!  We have a limited number of spots
available for this exclusive class!
Deadline for registration this year is March 15. Don't miss out!!!

Photography 101

Sunday, March 14th at 3pm

Cost: $20 Instructor: Lynn

Tired of pushing the "delete" button on your digital camera? Every wonder why some of your pictures look perfect while some just don't make it?  Join Lynn in a 2 hour class that will have you taking pictures you want to save instead delete!

Good pictures are seldom created by chance. To make the most of any subject, you must understand the basic principles of composition. The way you arrange the elements of a scene within a picture, catch the viewer’s attention, please the eye, or make a clear statement are all qualities of good composition. By developing photographic composition skills, you can produce photographs that suggest movement, life, depth, shape, and form, recreating the impact of the original scene.

In this class, you will review basic photography composition and learn how to apply different techniques to your photographs.

Supplies needed:  Just your digital camera!

Those  Pesky Rules:

( You may need a cup of coffee or some Red Bull to get through this)

The Number One Rule:  Have FUN and enjoy yourself!!

(If you are not enjoying yourself, you must have walked into H&R Block by mistake and are getting your taxes done, because honestly, we have a ROCKIN' good time at everything we do.)

Classes & Crops are pure "ME" time to get away and have fun! Therefore, no infants or children may attend classes or crops. (Children may not be left unattended in our play area while you are in your class, either.) Give Grandma or the Dear Hubby a chance to spend quality time with the kiddies; it serves them right and you KNOW they owe you. Crop attendees must be 18 years or older. If you are 40 and ACT like a 10 year old, you may attend classes but we reserve the right to put you in time out for bad behavoir.

A class kit is required for all classes.  A class kit consists of a paper trimmer, adhesive, scissors and an acid free pen.  Other classes may require additional tools, so please check with the store when signing up to see if you need to bring anything else. ( Like INK or CHOCOLATE or CASH BONUSES for instructors) Your supply list will  print out on your receipt, but not your credit score, social security number or weight.  You're welcome.

Occasionally, products that are used in our classes become unavailable from companies. (Believe me, it bugs us way more than it may bug you!!!) Substitutions may be necessary for particular items.  If this happens, we will substitute items of similar color, style and price.  We promise that replacements will not affect the overall feel, theme and quality of the project!  ( AND we promise to thoroughly yell at the suppliers who dogged us.)  Remember, classes are not only about getting projects completed, but also about learning new skills and techniques! If you feel your class MUST be exactly like the sample even if supplies are not available, you are probably a Virgo and demand perfection...nothing we do will meet your standards anyway.  Learn to love us as we are and you will have a great time in your class.

Please note that if classes do not meet minimum requirements, then we reserve the right to cancel the class with 24 hours notice. If your class is canceled we will call you and provide you with a store credit. Hopefully, we will get a hold of you directly...because husbands are notoriously bad messengers.  He may SAY we never called but he KNOWS we did.  He is afraid you are going to spend more money...and frankly, we ALL know you that you will.  After all, you are supporting an American female small business owner...isn't that your Patriotic duty? With liberty and Junkitz  for all.

Classes and Workshops are not eligible for Frequent Shopper Rewards Points.  Discounts and coupons are not applicable on classes and workshops. Hugs and smiles ARE available with the purchase of each class.

Cancellation policy: 24 hour notice is required to receive a refund.  Refunds of any kind are given in store credit.  We appreciate your understanding.  If you don't have any understanding, we appreicate you gritting your teeth, accepting this policy and not yelling at us, ...because we are all very sensitive and cry easily.

WHEW!  That's all there is...now go reward yourself with a shopping spree at Scrapbooks & More for your efforts.

( We are many things, but subtle is not one of them).
